About Prayagraj
Prayagraj, formerly Allahabad, is where the Ganga, Yamuna and the mythical Saraswati meet at the Triveni Sangam. A dip here is believed to wash away lifetimes of sin, and the city hosts the Kumbh Mela, the largest gathering of people on earth.
Beyond the Sangam, the city holds the Akshayvat, the immortal banyan; Anand Bhavan, the Nehru family home; and the Mughal-era Allahabad Fort.
