Sacred Char Dham journey to Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath & Badrinath.
All four dhams of Uttarakhand in the traditional order — Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath. Twelve days with a spare day held back for weather, an overnight at Kedarnath, and a route specialist who has walked the Gaurikund trail more times than he can count.
Arrive Haridwar. We complete your Char Dham registration and confirm documents. Evening Ganga aarti at Har Ki Pauri. Overnight in Haridwar.
Drive through Mussoorie and the Yamuna valley to Barkot. Overnight in Barkot.
Drive to Janki Chatti, then the 5–6 km trek to Yamunotri (ponies and palanquins available). Darshan of Goddess Yamuna, and rice cooked as prasad in the thermal spring at Surya Kund. Return to Barkot.
Drive to Uttarkashi, visiting Kashi Vishwanath Temple there. Overnight in Uttarkashi.
Drive to Gangotri — the only dham with road access right to the temple. Darshan of Goddess Ganga beside the startlingly clear Bhagirathi. Return to Uttarkashi.
A long driving day through Tehri and Srinagar to Guptkashi. Overnight in Guptkashi or Sitapur.
Early start to Gaurikund, then the 16–18 km trek to Kedarnath at 3,580 m — six to eight hours upward for most pilgrims. Ponies, palanquins and helicopter options are arranged in advance. Overnight at Kedarnath, so you see the temple at dusk and again at dawn.
Morning darshan, then descend to Gaurikund and drive to Guptkashi. Overnight in Guptkashi.
Drive via Joshimath to Badrinath. Evening aarti at the temple. Overnight in Badrinath.
Morning darshan and holy dip at Tapt Kund. Then Mana village, the last village before the Tibet border, and Vasudhara Falls. Drive to Rudraprayag or Srinagar.
Drive back through Devprayag, where the Bhagirathi and Alaknanda meet to form the Ganga. Overnight in Haridwar.
A spare day held for weather delays anywhere on the circuit. If unused, morning at leisure before your drop at Haridwar station or Dehradun airport.
