These terms explain how to pay Pratap Travel, when payments are due, and how we confirm them. They apply alongside our Terms & Conditions and Refund & Cancellation Policy.
1. How you can pay
We accept UPI, QR-code scan and bank transfer by NEFT, RTGS or IMPS. Current UPI and bank details are shown on our Online Payment page. Cash is accepted only at our office against a printed receipt.
We do not operate a card gateway on this website. Every payment is made from your own banking app directly to our account, which means your card and banking credentials are never entered on our site.
2. Advance and balance
- An advance of 25% of the tour cost confirms a booking. Until we receive it, rates and availability are not held.
- The balance is due 15 days before departure. For bookings made inside 15 days, the full amount is payable at the time of booking.
- Peak-season bookings — Deepotsav, Ram Navami, Holi in Braj, Kumbh and the Char Dham opening weeks — may require a higher advance, which we will tell you before you pay.
- Cab-only and day trips are payable in full before the journey begins, unless agreed otherwise in writing.
If the balance is not received by the due date, we may treat the booking as cancelled and apply the charges in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
3. Always add a reference
Put your booking reference or the lead traveller's full name in the payment remarks. This is how we match your money to your booking. Payments without a reference take significantly longer to verify and can delay your voucher.
4. Confirming your payment
After paying, fill in the confirmation form on our Online Payment page with your transaction ID or UTR number and the amount, and send us the screenshot on WhatsApp. We verify payments within 2 to 4 working hours during office hours and issue your booking voucher within 24 hours of verification.
A booking is confirmed only when we have verified the payment and issued a voucher — not when your app shows the transfer as successful.
5. Taxes and charges
Applicable GST and government levies are charged as per prevailing rates and are shown separately on your invoice. Any bank charges or transfer fees levied by your bank are yours to bear; the amount we receive must equal the amount quoted.
6. Receipts and invoices
We issue a receipt for every verified payment and a final invoice before departure. Tell us at the time of booking if you need the invoice raised to a company name or GSTIN — we cannot change it afterwards.
7. Failed and duplicate payments
If money leaves your account but does not reach us, send us the UTR number and we will trace it with our bank. Failed transfers are normally reversed by your bank within 5 to 7 working days. Duplicate payments are refunded to the source account within 7 working days of being identified.
8. Refunds
Refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy and are always returned to the account the payment came from.
9. Protect yourself from fraud
Please read this carefully:
- We never ask for your UPI PIN, OTP, CVV, card number or net-banking password. Anyone who does is not us.
- A UPI PIN is needed only to send money, never to receive it. If someone asks you to enter a PIN to receive a refund, it is a scam.
- Verify our account name and UPI ID against the Online Payment page, or by calling +91 88088 00808, before transferring — especially for large amounts.
- Be cautious of account details sent from an unknown number or a slightly different name. Confirm with us by phone first.
